Ozi v'Zimrat Yah {Exodus 15:3} ~ Third Chakra: Manipura
Here we honour our awareness of the strength we have been given by Nature, and we sing our gratitude for this strength in our Song of God.
In the Sacred Writings this Prayer forms part of the Shirat Hayam = “Song of the Sea”. This was the celebratory song that Moses and the Israelites sang to God after having crossed the parted Red Sea. They sang in celebration of their salvation. It is also written that God's ministering Angels had wanted to join the others in song and celebration, but God told them of His deep feelings of sadness because the people who were drowning were his children too.
We are truly ALL Children of God, no matter the label we place upon ourselves.
The Angels, honouring Love, did not sing on that day.
The third Chakra, Manipura, is found at the solar plexus and is our strength centre. Through this chakra we may focus our energies of strength in order to move toward the fulfillment of our needs, wishes, desires, etc. A balanced Manipura provides for a strong energetic foundation for using our strength in ways that support ourselves, others and All that Is.
{*** Ozi is the original Prayer, the simple, casual recording that began Cantoria in December 2008}
